Dr. Emmanuel Lawson Hassan has been appointed as the new Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas. 
 
The appointment was announced in a press release issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Chief Barr. Gebon Timothy Kataps, on May 27, 2024.
 
Dr. Hassan is a distinguished scholar with a background in history and diplomatic studies. He previously served as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History and Diplomatic Studies at the Federal University of Wukari.
 
Throughout his academic career, Dr. Hassan has been recognised for his dedication to education and research. He has held various administrative positions within the university, showcasing his leadership and organisational abilities.
