Dr. Agbu Kefas, Governor of Taraba State, visited Mambilla Beverages Limited, producers of Highland Tea and Green Tea, on Saturday to assess the company’s production and packaging procedures.

During the visit, Governor Kefas observed that the company requires reinforcement to meet the growing demands for its products.

In response, the state government plans to partner with foreign investors to expand the tea distribution chain beyond Nigeria.

Dr. Kefas also toured Segem Dam, a 400 Kilowatts Twin-Turbines Mini Hydro Electricity Generation Company, which supplies power to the tea factory.

He emphasized the state government’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for businesses to thrive, from small to medium scale.

The visit culminated in a symbolic planting of a tea tree by Governor Kefas, signifying his support for the company’s growth and development.

The partnership with foreign investors is expected to boost the company’s production capacity and increase its market reach.
