Taraba State commends the federal government for its swift response to the recent power outage caused by vandalism of transmission towers.

This was contained in a letter signed by Barr. Zainab Usman Jalingo Hon. Commissioner of Information and Re-Orientation, Taraba State.

The statement also thanked the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) for its efforts in erecting new towers along the Jos-Gombe axis.

Governor Agbu Kefas was acknowledged for his tireless work in addressing the electricity challenges in the state.

The Taraba State government emphasized its commitment to finding a lasting solution to the power grid issue, working collaboratively with the federal government.

The letter also expressed gratitude to the citizens of Taraba for their patience and understanding during the power outage.

The government assured them that they are actively working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

The restoration of power is expected to bring economic benefits and improve the well-being of the people in Taraba State.
