The Taraba State Police Command has announced the passing of its Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Police (SP) Usman Abdullahi, in the early hours of Sunday, March 23, 2025.

“Taraba State Police Command regrets to announce the passing of SP Usman Abdullahi, the Command’s public relations officer.” A statement from the command reads 

SP Abdullahi, a well-known figure in the force, passed away following a period of illness. 

The remains of late SP Abdullahi were buried on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 2:00pm at Afolahan Square, Jalingo, Taraba State.
