In a successful operation, troops from the 117 Battalion of Operation Hadin Kai, alongside the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), neutralized two Boko Haram terrorists during a routine patrol along the Wuro Jabbe axis in Chibok Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno State.

According to reports from Zagazola Makama, Security expert in the lake chad basin area, the troops engaged the terrorists in a fierce firefight, resulting in the elimination of two insurgents.

The remaining terrorists were forced to retreat deeper into the surrounding forest.

Zagazola Makama also reports that the troops pursued the fleeing terrorists and conducted a comprehensive search of the area. This resulted in the recovery of an undisclosed amount of weaponry following the patrol.
