The Tukur Yusuf Buratai Humanity Care Foundation, in partnership with the Tukur & Tukur Foundation, has successfully conducted a free medical outreach, benefiting over 1,800 people in Kano State.

The initiative, held at the invitation of the Kano State Hisbah Board, aimed to provide essential healthcare services to community members.

In a statement issued on Thursday by Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani, Chairman of the Foundations, and Col. Haruna Idris Zaria (Rtd), explained that the outreach was specifically designed to support those who selflessly serve the community.

The event featured a ceremonial presentation attended by members of the Kano Hisbah Board.

Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, Commander-General of the Hisbah Board, expressed his profound gratitude to the foundations for their commitment to improving the health and well-being of Hisbah personnel, their families, and the wider public.

“This medical outreach is critical,” Sheikh Daurawa explained. “Some of our officers are battling severe visual impairments, hearing loss, and other chronic conditions. Addressing these health challenges will enhance their productivity and overall well-being.”

He highlighted the urgency of the intervention, noting that many Hisbah officers are elderly, some in their 90s, and face various health challenges.

“We sincerely thank you for dedicating your time and resources to provide this critical health support,” he said. “We pray for divine blessings upon the founders and benefactors of these noble foundations.”
