Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum on Saturday commissioned the remodelled Taraba Green House Project in Jalingo, praising its revival under Governor Agbu Kefas as a boost to food security and livelihoods.
Zulum, who also chairs the North East Governors’ Forum, performed the commissioning at the close of the forum’s 12th meeting in Jalingo.
“This project is of great societal importance and will greatly benefit humanity,” Zulum said while commending Kefas for resuscitating the initiative.
The greenhouse scheme was one of several projects revived by the Taraba governor to promote agricultural development in the state.
