Borno state Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has decorated his aide-de-camp (ADC), Ashigar Baba Kulbu, with his new rank of Superintendent of Police (SP).
The decoration took place in a mini ceremony at the governor’s office on Monday.
The decoration followed Ashigar’s recent promotion by the Nigeria Police.
Governor Zulum, assisted by Commissioner of Police Lawal Muhammad Yusufu, congratulated Ashigar on his promotion.
“Ashigar’s rise through the ranks is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and loyalty,” the Governor said.
Ashigar joined the Nigeria Police in 2016 as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) II.
He was subsequently promoted to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) before his latest elevation to Superintendent of Police (SP) in 2025.
