The Yobe State Government has appointed Builder Sabiu Alhaji Datti as the new General Manager of the Yobe State Agency for Community and Social Development (YBACSD).

His appointment, approved by Governor Mai Mala Buni, takes effect from October 7, 2025, according to a statement issued by the Acting Head of Service, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa Shehu.

The statement described Builder Datti as a dedicated professional whose wealth of experience and record of service would strengthen the agency’s role in grassroots development.

“His Excellency extends his congratulations and best wishes, confident that the new General Manager will continue to demonstrate hard work, integrity, and commitment to advancing the agency’s objectives,” the statement read.

Builder Datti is expected to lead efforts toward enhancing community-driven development and improving social welfare across the state.
